Future Home

The picture above is a draft of a future home. Vincent Callebaut, an architect from Belgium, filed a new breakthrough for the concept of a future dream home. The concept was named Leaf Lilacs. This breakthrough was conceived and designed by Vincent to face the problem of climate change and density. This concept is a prototype amphibious house that can support themselves, and each house “leaves” can accommodate up to 50,000 people.
In the midst of this house, there is a lake that is useful to store and purify rain water. This floating house did not need roads or paths. This houseboat will float to follow the movement of ocean currents.
This leaves the design can contain three marinas and three mountains dedicated as city business and entertainment. This unique floating city, because this city is a city of amphibians, half city and half the city ground water. This city had the resources of sun, wind and ocean currents, which will produce more energy than the energy consumed by this floating city. And the city will be a city that can be called zero-emission or not exhaust gas issue, because all the carbon and waste will be recycled.
The hope is that by 2100 there will be 250 million people who fled from weather changes, or the so-called “climactic Refugee”, because sea water will destroy major cities like New York, Shanghai, and Bombay. Vincent believes that this artificial concept is a long-term solution to deal with rising sea water, and instead strengthen the shoreline, because the solution of this coastline is only a short term solution. The design of the floating city is inspired by leaves of Amazonia Victoria Regia. Just for the record, leaves of Amazonia Victoria Regia is a plant that has leaves that are very tightly bone.
